Vancouver writer and friend Darren Barefoot is using his powers for good by promoting World Visions 30-Hour Famine.
Darren tells me… “It’s like doing a charity run, except instead of running, you mostly sit around and don’t eat. For 30 hours on April 1 and 2, I’m only going to consume water and fruit juice. Seeing as the last time I tried fasting I caved after about 15 hours, this should at least be good for some entertainment.”
Last year DB and his crew raised about $15K for a different cause. He’s a cool guy, looking to make a change in his community and encouraging those around him to do the same, and doing a great job. Check it out and consider contributing.
