Gulf Island Pirate Regatta – June 30th, 2019 – Early each summer, sailors gather in the Gulf Islands to vie for the coveted Pirates’ Trophy. What say all you Pirates and Land Lubbers? Come one come all! Learn to sail… your life may depend on it!
BioBlitz – May 3-5, 2019 – The Mayne Island Conservancy & Galiano Island Conservancy bring us BioBlitz 2019. Contribute to our knowledge of the flora and fauna of Mayne and Galiano islands by submitting your observations to iNaturalist! Help us break the record from the 2017 Galiano BioBlitz of 814 species!
Tour des Iles Festival – June 21-23, 2019 – An all day inter-island small boat service that connects you to Pender, Saturna, Salt Spring, Galiano and Mayne Islands.
Instagram Photography Workshop – The Galiano Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring an Instagram learning session. It will be held at the Woodstone Manor on May 1st. Free to Chamber members and $50 to non-members. Email info@galianoisland.com to register. We’ll discuss tips, tricks and strategies to improve you’re photos skills as well as social media and branding.
