- Generative AI Workshops – I’ve been hosting and facilitating several workshops exploring the intersection of technology and art, with a focus on Midjourney & ChatGPT. These workshops are designed to empower artists, creators, and innovators with the knowledge and skills to harness the power of generative AI in their creative processes.
- Art Island Documentary Series – I served as the Assistant Director for Hornby Arts’ 10-episode Hornby Island documentary series. The series takes a deep dive into why creatives feel art is important and how it has the power to affect us all. The series is directed by Zsofin Sheehy.
- Future in Review Podcast– I create and produce the Future in Review podcast with Berit Anderson on behalf of Strategic News Service and the Future in Review conference. The podcast explores the future of technology, economics, and public policy.
- Tribal Journeys – I had the privilege of documenting the Tribal Journey’s Qatuwas Festival with the Squamish Nation. This involved a 600-mile canoe trip up the West Coast of the USA and Canada, capturing the journey and the cultural significance of the event.
- Midway Island – I worked as a cameraman on Chris Jordan’s documentary film ‘Albatross’ on Midway Atoll. The film explores the impact of plastic pollution on wildlife.(Video)
- Alberta Tarsands – I produced a documentary about wolves in the Canadian Tar Sands, highlighting the environmental impact of the tar sands industry. (Video)
- UN Global Youth Summit on HIV – In collaboration with UNAIDS, I traveled to Mali for a youth activist media mentoring workshop and gave the keynote presentation to 1000 people, including President Amadou Toumani Touré.
- World People’s Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth -I had the opportunity to photograph Bolivia with President Evo Morales as the photographer for the World People’s Conference on Climate Change.
- SkeenaWild Youth Film Making Camp – At the ReelYouth camp, I helped youth learn the ins-and-outs of the filmmaking process, from storyline development to capturing the right shot and editing a final production.production.
- Digital Forage | Access to Media Education Society (AMES) – I instructed and mentored youth in media literacy and production as part of the AMES in-classroom training program on Penelakut Island. Watch the video here.(Video)
- Douglas Coupland – I collaborated with artist Doug Coupland on a project documenting the work of Marshall McLuhan on the Waldorf Hotel marquee.
- Uganda, Africa – Lectured & provided portfolio reviews for 160 Art & Design students at Kyambogo University in Kampala Uganda as part of EcoArt Artist-in-Residency program.
