While I’m not a fan of celebrity-type magazines I am a fan of great portraiture and I must admit I did pick up an old edition of Practical Photography Magazine (May 2005) when I read the tagline,“Stunning Portraits of the Rich and Famous,†on the cover but only because that was followed up with these three words – by Nigel Parry.
I simply can’t hold it against Nigel Parry that his subjects are some of hollywood’s most elite. ( including Dustin Hoffman, Johnny Depp, Bruce Willis, Kiera Knightly, Renee Zellweger and the late Richard Harris.) I’ve tried. Really. But he’s just too good.
